b. Why are you interested in the topic? Describe your history of the interest.
c. What people and/or experiences influenced your interest in this subject?
d. What do you have to gain personally by studying this subject?
PART TWO. Explain your purpose for conducting the search and writing the paper including what you hoped the search would fulfill. Discuss the questions you hope to answer by the end of your search. The questions you discuss should be questions you are authentically and/or passionately interested in finding answers to.
